When you request a price for a service do you enquire into what that price is for?
Is the specification like for like?
A customer last week said that our Rust proofing service was expensive when compared to a competitor, so I asked whether there price included removing the plastics from the vehicle underside? it didn’t. We discussed the vehicle and I said it was not a comparable service as if the plastics aren’t removed what are they coating?
The picture below shows the amount of plastics some modern cars have, all of these need to be removed to expose the condition underneath. Once removed the metal can then be correctly prepared and treated.
