SLOSH FUEL TANK SEALER – NEW FORMULA
Slosh seals steel and aluminum petrol and diesel tanks. Tests with up to 85% corn ethanol show no degradation or softening of the sealer, proving it effectively protects against the ethanol content in modern fuel, meeting both current E5 and proposed E10 standards.
We recommend thoroughly cleaning the tank interior with Rustbuster Tank-Kleen before applying the sealer. Kits that combine Slosh and Tank-Kleen are available. Remove any previously applied sealers before applying Slosh. If you need to remove an existing or failing sealer, use Rustbuster R10-B1 Resin Remover.
This new formula has a lower viscosity (thinner) than its predecessor, allowing it to move easily inside the tank and reach all areas without pooling. Its lower viscosity also makes it quicker and easier to pour out of the tank.
A 400ml can of Slosh seals up to a ten-gallon (50-litre) tank, ideal for motorcycle tanks and small cars. (400ml supplied as 2x200ml Bottles)
An 800ml can treat tanks up to 20 gallons (100 litres). (800ml supplied as 2x400ml Bottles)
Tips for best results with Slosh and fuel tank sealants

For the best results, follow these tips:
- Do use nuts, washers, or sharp stones as abrasives with the Tank-Kleen solution to help remove rust and old petrol deposits.
- Do ensure the tank is completely dry before applying the sealer.
- Do remove or protect anything you don’t want sealed, such as plugs, fuel gauge sender units, breather pipes, and filters.
- Do not apply the sealer to a wet or damp tank, as it will react with moisture and cause bubbling.
- Do not allow the sealer to pool in thick layers, which can trap solvents and lead to bubbling.
