Rustbuster’s Hot Fog Rustproofing, What’s Fogging???

For many years now Rustbuster have used cavity injection equipment from a Canadian manufacturer called Lemmer. Lemmer have been manufacturing high quality rustproofing equipment since 1965 and have a pump called the Fogger as part of there offering.

Fogging is the most effective method for applying cavity wax inside door cavities and hard-to-reach areas of vehicles, aircraft, industrial machinery, and military equipment.

When paired with heated wax—like Rustbuster Corrolan Active, maintained at 40°C—this process creates a hot fog. Unlike traditional applications, the wax is always applied as a warm liquid, allowing it to spread and penetrate thoroughly. The fogging equipment disperses the wax evenly, much like the scent of wildflowers filling a meadow. Even in areas where a heavy coating isn’t visible, Corrolan Active will still be present on the surface, providing protection.
